I never thought that mini lop rabbits can be great pets. I adopted 3 couples and plan to breed them for business purposes. I will go into a breeding business and sell their offspring in the coming days. Because my purpose for taking care of them is both personal and commercial, it is very crucial for me to know the nitty-gritty of mini lop rabbit care. I went online to search for the topics of my concern, which I easily did. Through my research, I’ve finally learned that these cute creatures love to get noticed; because of that, they require much attention. The male rabbits are usually more aggressive than the females; that’s why I had to neuter them for months so that they will be tamed; lest, they might attack anyone in the house. I feed my rabbits with grass or timothy hay; and alternately, with plain pelle hcg diet ts. I am cautious with their food because I don’t want them to get sick. Mini lop rabbits can die quickly if they get sick, that is why I ensure that they are given proper nourishment and care. They need plenty of water that’s why I make sure that their bottle will not run out of it. They shouldn’t be bathed. Not unless they get really messy; then, it wouldn’t hurt to clean them with soap and water. However, this should be done infrequently. They do not like the feeling of being showered with water; hence, you should expect them to try to break loose whenever you do so. Be prepared for that. I am so careful whenever I clip their nails. Sometimes, the vet would offer this service for a minimal fee. There are also times where I get it for free together with another service that I used from the veterinary clinic.
